Galileo,, a Detective J-Drama

Do you know Galileo? Or, have you hear about him?? Yepp, Galileo is an astronomer. In 16th century, he stated that Earth is moving around Sun. Though this is the truth, the people in that time believed on the contrary. Because of that, he was sentenced and exiled. He died in 1642. Three hundreds and fifty years later, his name as an scientist was rehabilitate.

Okay, enough about the Galileo's history. Now, i'll tell you about one of my favorite J-Drama that have the same title as the scientist i tell you before, Galileo. However, this J-Drama is not about him. Nor about the astronomy. It is about the detective and physics scientist working together to solve criminal cases.

And, just in case you don't know, J-Drama is a Japanese TV series. In the other words, it's simply called as Japanese sinetron. But, unlike Indonesian sinetron that usually has hundreds of episodes and common story, the kind-persecuted-hopeless person vs the bad-dominant-evil person  :P  , Japanese sinetron has fewer episodes (about a dozen) and tells us about a profession.

Back to Galileo. As i told you before, this is about solving criminal cases. There are two main characters in this drama,, the detective, Utsumi Kaoru (played by Shibasaki Kou), and the physics scientist, Yukawa Manabu (played by Fukuyama Masaharu). So, who is the Galileo?? The Galileo is Yukawa Manabu's alias, since he is very genius in his field. And, just like some genius people, Yukawa Manabu is also a weird one. He is very smart, logic, cool, and well-organized, yet, he also don't care about others feeling. Meanwhile, Utsumi Kaoru is a newbie detective. She is very vigorous, emotion-first, and has a high sense of justice. A unique duo, isn't it??

Galileo has 10 episodes. Although it is a sinetron, the episodes have no relation, except for 9th and 10th episode. The titles of each episodes are as follow burns, floats, rattles, rots, strangles, dreams, knows, sees, and bursts.

The first episodes is about spontaneous human combustion. Have you heard about this phenomena? It is a mysterious phenomena when a human body is burned suddenly and without any fuel.
So, how can it happen???
This episodes will give you the answer.
Well, just one of possible answer, i think.
Want to know about the answer too??
Don't waste any moments, please watch it.
You can give your comment about this drama, whether it is a great drama or a bad one, after watching this episodes. If you deign, you can give your flashdisk to me and i would happily copy it for you..  :)

All cases in this drama are solved by using physics theory and there are some experiments relating to the theory used. For me, it is very interesting. The other things i like about this drama is that i can imagine and (maybe) understand about the quote i've heard before, "men are from Mars, women are from Venus", since the two main characters has a very distinct characteristic.
